TASTING NOTES: Gorgeous crème de cassis, blackberry liqueur, black raspberry and Chocolate with a bit of caramel and a dense ruby core. Aromas of black cherries and blackberries, mingle with layers of vanilla and cassis. The palate is bright and elegant with plenty of fruit and spice carried on by well-structured tannins that lead to a long-lasting, brambly yet graceful, soft fruit finish.
2021 HARVEST: The 2021 vintage will be remembered for low yields with intensely-flavored, small-sized berries and a smooth and uneventful harvest season. The season started off with very little rain, leading to the 2nd year of drought conditions in Napa Valley, Harvest began early with white wine grapes picked on July 30th and red wine grapes beginning on August 31. While concerning in the long term, the drought of 2021 resulted in a more natural load on the vines, requiring less pruning and dropping of fruit. The resulting grapes are packed full of flavor. Winemakers across the valley are excited about the prospects of the 2021s and it is likely the smaller yields per vine and smaller berry size will result in another amazing vintage from Napa Valley.

2022 PINOT NOIR "ENDGAME" RUSSIAN RIVER VALLEY
Bing cherry, wild strawberry, red plum, and raspberry aromas, as well as hints of baking spices like clove and nutmeg. The palate is characterized by a lush, round mouthfeel and vibrant, juicy red fruit flavors. The wine also features a well-balanced acidity and silky tannins.
VINTAGE 2022 in the Russian River Valley was marked by a challenging growing season and near-perfect weather conditions:
· Early start A warm spring and sparse winter rainfall led to an early budbreak in Sonoma County, which exposed young shoots to unpredictable spring weather. The Russian River Valley experienced two frost spells in 2022, which is a common early-season danger in the area.
· Early harvest Warm weather and strong canopies accelerated ripening, and harvest began on August 22 and ended on September 9, 2022. This was the earliest harvest in the Russian River Valley's history, and winemakers needed to harvest quickly to preserve freshness.

TASTING NOTES: The 2021 Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep ruby-purple color and layered aromas that evolve with time, from rich, dark currant and dried flowers to warm spices, earth and tobacco leaves. The medium-bodied palate strikes a perfect balance of fruit, spice and earth tones, and it has a long, mineral-driven finish.
VINTAGE 2021: Paso Robles received generous preseason rainfall during January, but it was an especially dry winter and spring. Dry conditions in 2021 forced vines to produce small but concentrated berries, typical of drought years in the Paso Robles appellation. Consistently mild daytime temperatures, though, paired with cool nights to keep berries fresh; this allowed winegrowers the luxury of patience to harvest grapes at optimal ripeness.
